Ben Jarvis joined the University of Leicester as Professor of Medieval Archaeology in 2023.He is a specialist in the archaeology of medieval England, with particular interests in urbanism and material culture. He is also committed to the advancement of theoretical approaches within the discipline and has published widely on archaeological applications of assemblage thought.
The Centre for Regional and Local History and Centre for Urban History have joined forces to present a joint seminar series, which will take place fortnightly alternating between Thursday and Friday afternoons. All talks will be in-person in Att 101 (CRLH library) or via the TEAMS link.
